This documentary and the rhetorical message that it provides are very important. Many people hold the belief that all homeless people are good for nothing drug addicts. This judgement is one of the main reasons that most people don't do anything or care much about the issue of widespread homelessness. They see homeless people as below them. This film, however, convinces the viewer that there are people not much different from them living on the streets. By putting these homeless people on the same "level" as people with more money and a place to live, it becomes much easier to empathize and create a change of attitude towards homeless people.

For these reason, the rhetoric is successful (or at least was for me). The topic was presented in a way that changed my mind about how I feel towards the general homeless population.
